Getting Started

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! I’m accepting new clients Tuesday through Friday. You can view my schedule through the online booking page.

How do I get started?

Start by booking a free 20-minute consultation through the booking page. This gives us the chance to connect and see if we’re the right fit before beginning therapy.

How does online counselling work?

Clients will create a login in the booking portal where you can view available times and schedule sessions. On the day of your appointment, you will receive a link to join the video session.

How much do your services cost?

Standard rates:
$150 for 60-min session
$210 for 90-min session

*All rates include taxes.
These standard rates support the sustainability of my practice and the ability to offer accessible care to those who need it.

Accessible Rates
A limited number of sliding scale spaces are available to those navigating financial barriers. If the full rate feels out of reach, please reach out so we can discuss options that work for you.

What types of therapeutic modalities do you use?

I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Somatic Experiencing, IFS Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, and NARM. My approach is rooted in person-centred care, anti-oppressive principles, and an integrative framework, tailoring therapy to what each person needs.

Location

Do you offer therapy in person?

I offer therapy sessions online through a secure, PIPEDA-compliant video platform. In-person sessions are not available at this time.

To which locations are you offering counselling services?

I offer counselling to people across Canada, except residents of Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

I also welcome international clients, depending on the regulations in your country. If you’re curious about whether we can work together, please reach out.

Appointments

Will my extended health benefits cover counselling services?

Counselling is often covered by insurance, but since each plan is unique, I’m unable to verify your coverage. Please contact your provider to confirm if counselling is covered under one of the following designations:

  • RTC 3084
Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT)
  • RPC-C 4551
    Canadian Professional Counsellor Association (CPCA)

You will receive an email receipt immediately after your session, which you can submit to your benefits provider for reimbursement.

Direct billing is available for Greenshield, Canada Life, and other eligible plans through Telus Health.

How many sessions will I need?

The pace of your healing is yours to determine. While some people experience shifts within 6-12 sessions, long-term healing often requires time and space.

In the beginning, weekly sessions help establish a strong foundation of consistency that supports safety and trust. From there, we can adjust the rhythm in a way that feels right for you.

What happens if I arrive late to sessions?

If you arrive within 15 minutes late, your session will end as scheduled to respect other appointments booked for the day. If you arrive over 15 minutes late, the session will be cancelled, and the full fee will be charged.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will not be charged. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, the full session fee will apply.

I understand that life can be unpredictable. If something urgent or health-related comes up, I consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

Let’s connect

Located on the unceded ancestral lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, colonially known as Vancouver, BC.

As a settler, I carry deep respect for these Nations and I commit to ongoing unlearning and accountability, to stand with Indigenous communities on Turtle Island.
